From the Noce Valleys, a strong, generous and good apple.
As red as your cheeks when it's cold outside, the Gloster Melinda withstands the spring frost thanks to its strong buds which are well-anchored to the tree. This is why it is a very generous tree. But also because the apple is accustomed to overcoming the hardships of time and always grows big and healthy. Its crisp and full-bodied pulp is yellow-green, in stark contrast to the intense red of its skin.
Its skin is a particularly intense red and the apple has an elongated shape.
Slightly tart and aromatic.
Full-bodied and crunchy, yellow-green, with a pleasantly tart flavour on the palate.
Raw, for those who love a sweetly tart flavour. It is suited for cooking in all apple-based recipes.
If you want to savour it in all its fragrance, we suggest eating it preferably within seven days of purchase.
After bringing them home, place them in the fruit and vegetable compartment of your fridge (ideal temperature 3-4 °C) for the shortest amount of time, and remove no more than two hours before eating them. Avoid storing them at room temperature for several days.
