The flavours of past times on your table today.
Despite the word bella in its name, which means beautiful in Italian, it is not one of the most beautiful apples, but hides a unique flavour inside: from the first taste, the fragrant aroma of Bella di Boskoop Melinda can bring to mid the flavours of yesteryear. It is a historic apple with a rustic appearance, and is still grown by experienced apple-growers who respect the traditions of the Noce Valleys. It contains twice the amount of vitamin C compared to Golden Delicious apples and is particularly suited for the diets of diabetics thanks to its nutritional value.
Green-grey colour with red nuances. It's a rustic, firm, sour and fragrant apple.
Unique and unmistakable, reminiscent of the original flavour of one of the oldest apples in the Noce Valleys.
Firm, tart, slightly yellow and sugary.
It is delicious both raw or cooked, and holds up well to cooking.
If you want to savour it in all its fragrance, we suggest eating it preferably within seven days of purchase.
After bringing them home, place them in the fruit and vegetable compartment of your fridge (ideal temperature 3-4 °C) for the shortest amount of time, and remove no more than two hours before eating them. Avoid storing them at room temperature for several days.
